Employment Verification - Private and Federal/Volunteer

Employment Federal Govt.:

Employment background Clearance for Federal Government Employment purpose (e.g., employees, contractors etc.)

Please Note: Client should provide a letter from the Federal. Govt. detailing the Department for a third-party result.

Employment Provincial Govt.:

Employment background Clearance for Provincial Government Employment purpose (Includes all Provincial Government employees, contractors as well as anyone who is licensed by the Province e.g. Nurses, Doctors, Psychologists, Teachers, etc.)

Please Note: Client may provide paperwork with details for a third - party results.

Employment Private Industry:

Employment background Clearance for private industry purposes (e.g. Taxi drivers, Security guards, Bookkeepers, Accountants, etc.)

All Private Industry submissions includes:

• Controlled goods
• Licensing for real estate, car salesmen, Immigration consultants,
• Contractors etc.

Employment Other:

Employment background clearance that are considered neither Private nor Government employment.

   For example:

• Foster parents.
• Municipal jobs.
• Compensated charity jobs.

Volunteer Employment:

Must be a non-compensated position in a bona-fide registered non-profit Organization (Such as - Charity).

Examples;

• Unpaid Volunteers at hockey training.
• Breast Cancer action.
• Arthritis Association.
• Boy Scouts.

Clients MUST provide a letter from the Organization stating that it is a voluntary, non-paid, not compensated for Expenses etc.

Identification required for Digital Fingerprinting:

Two pieces of ID’s required, issued by Federal or Provincial Government, at least one of which must be a photographic ID.

Solemnisation Certificate or Social Insurance Cards are Not acceptable for identification purposes.

Visa/Border Crossing/Foreign Travel/Work

This is used to obtain permission to enter another country for an extended time period or to work. A foreign nation may require the completion of a fingerprint based criminal record check as part of the process of obtaining a visa or other work documents to enter that country. The hard copy product of this type of civil search may be used as an official document in support of the subject’s application for the visa, travel waiver or work permit.

 

Identification required for Digital Fingerprinting:

Two pieces of ID’s are required, issued by Federal or Provincial Government, at least one of which must be a photographic ID.

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK/RECORD SUSPENSION/REHABILITATION SERVICES

In order for an individual to apply for a record suspension, they require a certified copy of their criminal record file maintained by CCRTIS. Please note the RCMP has no part in the decision regarding the granting of a Record Suspension.

PRIVACY ACT REQUEST

Non-Certified Criminal Information.

For clients who just want to know what RCMP have on file for them.

Suspended criminal record.

For details of convictions for which a record suspension has been granted.

 

Identification required for Digital Fingerprinting:

Two pieces of ID’s required, issued by Federal or Provincial Government, at least one of which must be a photographic ID.

Canadian Citizenship

Clients must provide a letter from CIC and a valid Permanent Residence card or valid landing document, as well as one other piece of Government issued ID.

Identification required for Digital Fingerprinting:

Two pieces of ID’s required, issued by Federal or Provincial Government, at least one of which must be a photographic ID.

Name Change

Name change Applications in the province of British Columbia/Alberta or other provinces.

Identification required for Digital Fingerprinting:

Two pieces of ID’s required, issued by Federal or Provincial Government, at least one of which must be a photographic ID.

Adoption applications (International or Canadian)

Adoption requests from either domestic or foreign adoption authorities. This is used for all family members in the adopting family.

Identification required for Digital Fingerprinting:

Two pieces of ID’s required, issued by Federal or Provincial Government, at least one of which must be a photographic ID.
